When you’re not using the extension straps, the Core Braid is is great for while you’re working at a desk, studying in a chair, or scrolling through Facebook. Without extension straps: Keeps your shoulders in their proper position, supports your back, and keeps your legs in a comfortable position too. Overall, It makes sure you have the correct posture while you’re seated. It also helps with proprioception (being aware of where your body is in relation to other things - it has definitely helped me with bumping into a few less things!) because it’s hugging your body - forcing you to be aware of your movements.
